Life is a gift!
There was a blind girl who hated herself for being blind.
She hated everyone except for her loving boyfriend.
He was always there for her.
She said if she could only see the world, she would marry
her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her.
She could finally see everything including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world,
would you marry me?”
The girl was shocked.
Now that she could see, she saw that her boyfriend was
blind.
She refused to marry him.
Her boyfriend walked away, tears in his eyes.
Later, he wrote a letter: “Just take care of my eyes, dear.”
The human brain can change in an instant.
Only will remember what life was like before.
Only few will remember who’s always been there.
Life is a gift.
Today, before you think of saying something unkind……think of
someone who can’t speak.
Before you complain about the taste of food……think of
someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife……think of
someone who is crying to God for a companion.
Today before you complain about life……think of someone who
went to heaven too soon.
Before you complain about your children……think of someone
who despite wanting children, is barren.
Before you complain about no one cleaning the house…..think
of the people who are living in the streets.
Before you complain about how far you have to drive……think
of someone who walks the distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job……think of
the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wished they had your job.
Before you think of pointing a finger or condemning
another……remember that no one is without sin and we all answer to one maker.
When depressing thought seems to get you down…..put a smile
on your face and thank God you’re alive and still around.
Life is gift.
Enjoy it, celebrate it, live it.

從前有一個少女憎恨自己竟然一下子變了個盲人。
除了她的男朋友之外她憎恨所有人。
因為他一直留在她身邊。
她答應如果她能夠再見到這個世界，她將會嫁給他。
有一天，有人送給了她一對眼睛。
使她重新看見所有東西和她的男朋友。
男朋友問她，〝如今妳能夠看見這個世界了，妳願意嫁給我嗎？〞
少女感到吃驚。
不錯，她已回復視力，同時發覺男朋友是個盲人。
她因此拒絕嫁給他。
男朋友知難而退，眼睛卻充滿淚光。
不久，他寫了一封信：〝請好好照顧我的眼睛，親愛的。〞
人的頭腦頃刻萬變。
會記得過去生命的歷程。
但很少人會記得起誰曾經一直留在他或她的身邊。
生命是天賜的。
今天，在你想說些會傷害他人的話時∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些已失去講話能力的人。
在你抱怨食物難以進口之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想有些人正在遭受饑餓的煎熬。
在你抱怨丈夫或妻子之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些曾經苦求上天助他找個伴侶但仍一無所獲的人。
今天在你抱怨生命之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些一早便魂歸天國的人。
在你抱怨子女之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些夢寐以求而仍舊一無所出的人。
在你抱怨没有人打掃房子之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些露宿街頭無家可歸的人。
在你抱怨開車費時失事之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些只能靠雙腿走完相同距離的路的人。
在你感覺疲累和抱怨工作之前∙∙∙∙∙∙試想一想那些失業漢、殘障者及一直渴望得到你那份工作的人。
在你舞動手指準備駡人之前∙∙∙∙∙∙要緊記没有人是不曾犯錯的而且他只需向造物主負責。
當你受到情緒影響時∙∙∙∙∙∙不妨在面上露點微笑及因你仍活著而感謝上天。

不妨盡情享受它，讚美它，投入它。
